Wellbeing Ambassadors

Each class in Key Stage 2 elected a Wellbeing Ambassador as part of our Democracy Week.

The job of Wellbeing Ambassadors is to support their school community and raise awareness of ways we can all help our school community.

Visit to Branch Road Care Home

In November, the WBAs visited a local care home to meet the residents. Mrs Mayfield and Mr Smallridge  very proud of the way the ambassadors conducted themselves throughout the visit. They were polite, respectful and kind to everyone they met. The service users and staff commented on how lovely they were and how much they enjoyed meeting them. Before we arrived at the home, the children said they felt a little nervous but we were made so welcome by everyone.  We were grateful for the time they shared with us and look forward to our next meet up, very soon for one of our nativities.

Jenna in Year 6 even wrote a poem to share with the residents. You can read it here.
