Careers Week 2025
In January, we celebrated our Careers Week 2025.
Members of the school community came to talk about their jobs and what inspired them to take part in it.
The aim of Careers Week 2025 is to inform children about the great range of jobs that are possible to do in our community, to teach them how what they learn in school can help them with future jobs and to inspire them to dream big when planning their futures.
We had an amazing range of volunteers and, thanks to the generosity of our visitors, all of our children were treated to fantastic presentations and inspiring stories. We had visitors from the world of science, exercise, drama, healthcare, graphic design and many more. It is no exaggeration to say that we had hundreds of children who were inspired this week (as well as a few staff).
This week could not happen without the support of the parents, carers, governors and extended Redeemer family, who gave up their time to plan a great presentation and a talk with the pupils. Without their kindness, it simply would not happen.
If you were not able to talk to the children and would like to speak about your job, then please contact the school office office@theredeemer.blackburn.sch.uk
Careers Week will be running again in January 2026.
