EYFS 10 Books
The EYFS 10 Books Scheme is designed to promote children's love for reading and help them get to know a range of excellent children's books.
We have carefully selected 10 books per term for the children to enjoy and get to know as their begin their reading journey with us at The Redeemer.
This means that each child will bring home a picture book (1 of 10) that you can read at home with them every week. This is to simply give children and adults the opportunity to sit and enjoy a quality book at home when you wish. Each child will get a new book from the select 10 every week so by the end of each term they will have taken home all ten and by the end of the year they will have had quality storytime with all 30 books. These are also the books that staff read to the children in class as part of our reading for pleasure time so they will hopefully already be familiar favourites!

All this could not be possible without The Redeemer Fundraisers who have paid for every book out of the money they have raised this year.
Please could parents ensure that the book is returned every Monday with the children's other home reading books otherwise a new one will not come home.
If you would like to send a photo to your class teacher of your child enjoying the books at home then we would be happy to receive them.
