Jordan Grant Memorial Trophy 2024
A special well done and thank you to the staff and pupils who represented The Redeemer CE Primary School at the Charity Football Match at Bamber Bridge yesterday.
An enjoyable day was had by all as the sun shone on the Sir Tom Finney Stadium and here are just a couple of the highlights from the event:
Amazing support and overwhelming funds raised for individuals with heart defects
Positive feedback on the children's behaviour
Cake sale and raffle adding to the excitement
Half-time penalty shootout with certificates for the children involved
The Redeemer Class 9 mascots representing Mr Grant's charity team
Beautiful moment releasing blue and white balloons in memory of a loved one
We are thrilled to share that our amazing Year 5 pupils recently participated in a day of training in Emergency First Aid! π This valuable experience equipped our pupils with crucial life-saving skills πͺπ©Ή
Not only did our pupils learn important first aid techniques, but they also gained confidence in their ability to help others in times of need. ππ‘οΈ It was inspiring to see them engage with the training and embrace this valuable opportunity for personal growth and skill development. πβ¨

Engineer Visit
Attention all budding engineers! Last week, we had a special visit from the incredible Judson Smythe, technical director at MGS Technical Plastics. He shared his fascinating journey as an engineer and inspired our children to think big and dream even bigger!
Let's see if this inspires our children to become the engineers of tomorrow! Who knows, their creations might just change the world!
A Special Thank You to Blackburn Hawks !
We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing team at Blackburn Hawks for their incredibly generous donation. They have kindly provided us with a match-worn shirt to add to our school's incredible memorabilia wall!
By showcasing the memorabilia from teams such as Blackburn Hawks, we want to encourage our students to explore different sports, discover local teams, and pursue their dreams on and off the field.
Can you guess who is hiding behind the book?

Blackburn Rovers Visit
Careers Week 2024
In the Autumn Term, we asked parents/carers and friends of The Redeemer if they could visit our pupils to discuss how school and education has helped them in their careers. We had an overwhelming response, which meant all our pupils from Reception through to Year 6 were able to hear about a range of different careers.
Throughout Careers Week we looked at life beyond school and we hope that this week has helped create memories that will nurse inspirational dreams and goals for their futures.
Mini Police
We would like to thank Blackburn and Darwen Police for an amazing opportunity for our Year 5 and 6 students to be a part of the incredible Mini Police program.
Led by our staff and supported by the police, the Mini Police initiative has provided an invaluable learning experience for the children. They have learned about policing issues, and have gained crucial insights into how to stay safe in our community and our Mini Police volunteers will also have the exciting chance to contribute to local priorities.

Today's Worship looked at how God is with us, even when our lives seem busy!
The different items represent the many different activities that we are involved in throughout our day, and how sometimes our lives can feel very, very busy! But Mr Devine talked to our school today during Worship about how even when everything seems so busy we must remember that God is like the water that spreads out and fills every gap with His Love and that God is there in everything we do, in every situation. He is present in the good times and in the bad, in the loud moments and in the silence.
